Balearics | 2023 | 20′ | documentary
The video work “Sustrato Índice” by González Fornes presents a contrast between the arrival of the boats to the coast of Formentera and the stories of the people who live on the island. The division of the image into two parts shows the remains of the arrivals of migrants on the beaches and, in contrast, the family stories that reflect the multicultural population of the island and the migrations they have had to face. The double screen alternates different experiences around mobility, indicating how the border becomes permeable or not. This video is a call to reflection on the situation of migrants and the injustices they have to endure in their search for a better life.

Formentera school children with Damiano Zanchetta and Viviana Carlet – 2023
Video realised during the multimedia workshop for the children of Formentera. The main purpose of the workshop is to guide the children through the process of creating an audiovisual product, using the stop motion technique, which should not be understood only as a cartoon, but as a journey to create a work that will represent the creative originality in which they are the protagonists.
